Lutty's Chevy Warehouse is your "One Stop Restoration Shop". We warehouse lens, wiring, electrical components, hoses, weatherstripping, emblems, chrome, interiors, sheet metal, radiators, gas tanks, clips & fasteners for your Chevy Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Tri-5, Truck, and Passenger car from over 150 suppliers. We get them to your door ASAP... and have for 35 years!

Humble Beginnings

While visiting relatives in Texas, fate introduced my parents, Rich and Pat Lutty, to a yellow 1964 Impala ragtop. Although they could not afford the car, they could not leave the state without it. After working out a deal, they drove the low mileage car 36 hours back to Pittsburgh, PA. They loved that car! I recall holding on for dear life while my mother raced whomever was beside us at any given traffic light …and Dad driving, as I huddled in a blanket on the floor behind the passenger's seat, top down, windows up, freezing!

In August of 1976, Pat was hit head-on around a bend; she and the Impala were beat up. Although the car was totaled, my parents spent the next two years piecing it back together. At that time, reproduction parts were hard to come by, especially sheet metal. Southern sheet metal, however, was plentiful! Several trips were made to chigger-infested junkyards to repair and fund the restoration of their beloved car. Our 1963 Chevy pickup Truck was crammed with unneeded parts that were sold at local swap meets.

Over the next five years, word got out and the phone was ringing. In 1981, we officially became “Lutty’s Chevys”. My mother quit her school bus driving job, ironically, to sell Chevy parts out of an old school bus at swap meets. She set up shop in our 4- car garage, which Dad expanded to an 8- car garage when the reproduction parts started to add up. At some point, a couple of employees were recruited to help.

My father eventually quit his job as a Local 5 union electrician to join the business. My father and brother found a 1966 truck that we converted to haul our parts trailer and be a home away from home for my parents. In Junior High, with my parents on the road attending swap meets from NY to Texas, I was responsible for laundry, dinner, and answering the phone when I came home from school.

We added the Chevelle, Nova, 55-56-57, and Camaro lines and needed more room. In 1988, we purchased a half-acre under roof old mushroom farm for cold storage warehousing. As our inventory grew, we needed to expand. Plans were drawn and building began on a new warehouse, with an actual showroom! In 1995, on April Fools’ Day, we moved in to our new warehouse. The Chevy Truck line was added and we had plenty of room to spare! Rich and Pat found themselves overwhelmed, working 14+ hour days at the shop during the week and selling at 48 swap meets a year trying to pay off 2 mortgages.

Thirty-five years later, we now have over 100,000 parts in stock from over 150 suppliers. We are your (second generation) "One Stop Restoration Shop"… with no room to spare!

Shipping Details

We ship most in stock orders within 24 hours! SHIPPING OPTIONS include USPS, UPS, and FedEx and Truck Freight. Next Day, Second Day, and Three Day Select are available on most packages. Orders outside the Continental U.S. entail a $10 handling fee. We will work with you to make the shipping process as painless as possible. Upon request, we will use your shipping company, shipping number, or broker. Most shipments are sent by dimensional weight, and can not be quoted until the package is ready to go. Small items can be sent Priority Mail at customer's request. All Packages are insured. Inspect all items upon receipt; if your parts appear to be damaged in any way, see instructions for Shipping Damages in the Returns section.

SPECIAL ORDERS are brought in specifically for you; therefore,they are NOT returnable. These items require a deposit.

DROP SHIPS are shipped directly to you by the manufacturer. We have no control over when they will ship, and they must be paid in full when ordered."Sold Out" items, "Supplier Back-Order" parts, or "Special Orders" may require us to back order a part for you. Your Special Orders and Back Orders will be shipped as soon as possible; we ask for your patience when this occurs.

TRUCK FREIGHT Our shipping volume allows affordable "Truck Freight" costs for those LARGER items that are too big for regular UPS or Fed Ex ground shipping. Truck shipments should be delivered to a place of business, or to a truck freight terminal. Residential (home) deliveries typically cost about $40 more than commercial deliveries. Please call for a shipping quote on "Truck Freight" items. Sheet metal parts are susceptible to slight damage due to the nature of the product and the method of shipment. No credit will be issued for sheet metal that has small pecks, dings, scratches or other minor flaws. Any body panel (either reproduction or factory original) requires minor body work when installed for a show quality finish. DO NOT SIGN the Bill of Lading until you have inspected the package or packages for damage. Once the Bill of Lading has been signed, it becomes a legal document stating that the shipment was received in good condition. If the driver will not wait, sign as " NOT INSPECTED, DRIVER WILL NOT WAIT", your name, and have the driver initial it. This will protect you against any unknown damage contained within your shipment. If damage is found, refer to "Shipping Damages" in the RETURNS section for instructions.

Damages

SHIPPING DAMAGES UPS or FedX parts are damaged, call Lutty's Chevy Warehouse at 724-265-2988 with the damage information immediately. Shipping claims must be called in & filed within 3 days. Keep all of the packing material, as well as the box or packages. Due to UPS procedures, if any item is damaged and reshipped to us, UPS will be unable to process your claim (and we are unable to compensate you). We protect you by insuring all outgoing shipments. USPS claims generally take longer to process than UPS or FedX claims We are unable to reship your merchandise until your claim is approved. We recommend UPS or FedEx for safety and reliability.

TRUCK FREIGHT Merchandise MUST be inspected BEFORE signing the freight bill. This signature is a release that everything was received in good condition. The driver will wait for you to inspect your parts. If the driver will not wait, sign the bill of lading "uninspected" and have the driver initial. If you receive a TRUCK FREIGHT with damaged items, have the driver mark the delivery board "damaged". Check all parts for damage and keep all packing for carrier pick up. Call Luttys 724-265-2988 with damage information immediately. Replacement parts will be shipped as soon as we have your claim approval. If your entire TRUCK FREIGHT order is damaged beyond repair, refuse the damaged items with the freight bill signed ”Damaged on arrival”. Call Luttys 724-265-2988 with damage information. Replacement parts will be shipped as soon as we have your claim approval.

RETURN POLICY

If you need to return an item... Call and speak to a representative at 724-265-2988. They will give you a return authorization number. Make a copy of your invoice. Write the authorization number on the invoice copy and on the outside of the box.

Prepare parts for return:
  • Parts must be in original package with Lutty's bar code.
  • Parts must be in original and salable condition.
  • Place the copy of your invoice with the authorization number in the box.

Ship item back to Lutty's Chevy Warehouse 2385 Saxonburg Blvd, Cheswick, PA 15024.

DON"T FORGET TO INSURE YOUR RETURN. An exchange or a refund will be made ASAP. There are no restocking fees for returns within 30 days. A 15% restocking fee will be charged for returns received after 30 days. No returns after 60 days. Because special Orders are ordered specifically for you, they cannot be returned for a refund.
